GOAL How to get information about the things happening during 'Export To Excel'? SOLUTION 1. Navigate into the Form that shows the data to export 2. In Form Menu choose: Help -> Diagnostics -> Examine 3. A pop-up window occurs. Enter the fields: Set Block = GLOBAL Set Field = FND_EXPORT_DEBUG Set Value = TRUE 4. Close pop-up window. 5. Do the export again When activated it shows information about the exporting process in a lot of pop-up windows. These information help you to find out at which stage 'Export To Excel' fails. Don't forget to disable debugging at the end.
